About Girls International Forum

Girls International Forum (GIF) is a non-profit organization created to empower girls to take action on issues affecting girls everywhere now and in their future.

Our Mission:

We believe that girls can and must be part of worldwide efforts to improve the lives of girls and women. In order to improve our own lives and the lives of others, we believe that all girls must be aware of the successes, issues, and problems of girls and women. We will focus our efforts around learning new things, challenging ourselves and others, and acting as role models by raising issues and spreading equality worldwide.

Girls International Forum will be girl-focused with girls as equal partners in leadership and decision-making. We are committed to the values of equality, commitment, love, challenge and cooperation.

What does GIF do?
We get involved in our communities and in national and international forums to help develop public policies, programs and rights for girls.

Why do we do it?
Girls need support worldwide to help improve their lives and the lives of others around them.

Who is GIF?

GIF is for any person or group who wants to get involved in girls rights efforts. As girls, we want to be directly involved in shaping our future. As adults, we want to work with girls to help them realize their goals.
