Girls International Forum (GIF) is a nonprofit organization created to help girls worldwide connect with each other, raise issues of common concern, develop workable solutions, communicate their ideas, and take action.

  • Help girls develop the leadership, networking, and personal and public advocacy skills they need to bring about change in their communities and to influence public policy worldwide to improve lives.
  • Help build teams of girls to create and implement Action Projects, designed to address critical issues affecting people locally and globally.

Internship Description: Interns are needed to take on a variety of responsibilities. Following are 4 areas of focus that we would like interns to work in:

  2. Volunteer Coordination: Work with girls (ages 12-18) distributing and collecting survey information, drafting planks of the Platform for Action, and designing projects that involve girls in taking action on the Platform.

  3. Fund Development: Assist in all aspects of fund development, including donor research and grant-writing.
